Discover the flavors of the world with our wood-aged grain distillate specialties: Joe's Best - fine grain aged in a Woodford barrel
Fine grain with 35% vol. | Aged for 17 months in a Bourbon Whiskey barrel from the Woodford Distillery in Kentucky, USA | Bourbon Whiskeys are known for their distinct vanilla and caramel notes.
Awards: Joe's Best 35% has been awarded Gold multiple times at the World-Spirits Award and in 2019 as a Culinary Ambassador of Lower Saxony. The clean and honest taste convinced the jury.
Experience the harmonious combination of our warming and mild wheat distillate with sweet notes of abundant vanilla and caramel, as well as a delicate woody character.
Our fine grain distillate matures in a few selected barrels, so the taste and intensity of the aromas can vary from barrel to barrel.
Therefore, each barrel is a new and exciting journey of discovery through the flavors of the world for us and for you.
No chill filtration was used to preserve the unique aromas.
· Aroma: Pronounced Bourbon aromas, intense banana ester aroma, very much vanilla, light caramel, nougat chocolate.
· Taste: Very strong roasted wood aromas, pronounced banana ester aroma, Bourbon notes, much vanilla, light caramel, malty sweetness, nutty, lingering finish.
Our drinking recommendation for the best development of aromas: 17-21°C in a Glencairn glass or A la Carte glass (see accessories).
