We, Edelkorn-Brennerei Jos. Rosche, are a family-run distillery from Haselünne, in the heart of the Emsland and on the edge of the Oldenburger Münsterland region. For over 230 years, we have combined the art of distillation with passion, living tradition, and responsibility – for lasting moments of enjoyment. As a 6th generation family business, our ambition is to create high-quality grain spirits that impress with their quality, authenticity, and regional character. Numerous awards, e.g., as multiple WSA World Class Distillery, confirm us on our path.

We distill our fine grain spirit ourselves in Haselünne using our own wheat and do not purchase industrially produced alcohol from third parties. With us, grain tastes like grain.

Sustainability through Circular Economy
For over 300 years, we have lived in and with our homeland. We want to preserve this homeland. Our deposit system for reusable bottles and crates has proven effective for our environment. Thank you for participating in reducing waste and using resources wisely.
Our energy cycle concept and numerous energy savings protect the environment – for example, through photovoltaic systems & heat recovery systems.

Family and Employees – The Foundation of Our Success
Our Edelkorn distillery has been family-owned since its founding. To this day, we have managed to overcome difficult phases due to deaths, economic crises, and ruinous price wars, together with our employees.
We are very grateful to them and our ancestors for their courage and great commitment. Everyone makes the quality of our products and services their personal concern.
We can be "a little proud" of their craftsmanship, their willingness to serve and their competence, and not least the good taste of the products.
Social responsibility at home and abroad
As a manufacturer of highly distilled alcohol, which - like many other things in daily life - can bring much joy when consumed in moderation, we are also aware of the dangers of addictive substances and drugs in human problems. In such situations, any indulgence can have the opposite effect. We ask everyone to refrain from indulgence in these situations.
We explicitly point this out within the framework of our Korn-Academie and at other events.
Our advertising communication emphasizes the enjoyment character of our products. We refuse to generate sales increases through discount promotions.
We also support projects to strengthen the self-confidence of vulnerable young people in the region, as well as initiatives for street children in Brazil and for school education and water supply in Uganda. In this way, we connect our roots here in the Emsland region with responsibility beyond the region.
